I am a devotee of Wabi-Sabi aesthetics. Finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and the incomplete. Appreciating the modest, humble, and unconventional. My compositions are most commonly deconstructed elements found in nature.
My influencers include Jackson Pollock, Rothko, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Man Ray, Ansel Adams, Ai Wei Wei and Zao Wou-Ki.
I have worked in oil pastels and acrylics since 2003. Mostly self-taught, having studied at private fine arts studios in Seattle, WA and Austin, TX.
My work is exhibited in several private collections in Austin, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston, Philadelphia, and Sacramento.
